Completed Work:


  • Management restructured, efficient and fit for purpose board meetings; prioritizing strategy and change
  • Improved oversight and leadership with the inception of: 
    • Finance Committee
    • Bingo committee
    • Coaching and Player Development Committee (CPDC)
  • Defined the Operations Committee roles and responsibilities & org chart job descriptions
  • Successful Concession Operations improvements!
  • Successful program improvements to Advertising and Sponsorship
  • Online registration and payments including SportsEngine optimization
  • Updated logo in line with the HS and other youth programs
  • New Jerseys!

Building Maintenance

  • Parking lot repairs and resurface
  • Phase 1 painting in the Wildcat Centre
  • LED light installment

Fiscal Responsibility

  • Closing the financial gap achieved by combing goals across Operations Committees.  Goals were set in 2021 to recoup $45,000 in lost profit due to COVID impact
  • Process improvements to bookkeeping, financial reporting, cash handling procedures, reconciliation for online registration
  • Review of the 2017 Strategic Plan, and 2022 updates of our Strategic Plan for implementation
  • Successful prioritizing and programming improvements for Fundraising Operations
  • All member accounts are now in good standing
Ongoing Work:

Relationship Management

  • Meaningful steps toward mutually beneficial relationships with community stakeholders including the city of River Falls, the high school, and the University
  • Prioritized Blackcats program through a mutually beneficial relationship with Baldwin and marketing of the program
  • RFYHA “This is YOUR Rink” Culture campaign
  • Our RFYHA WAHA borders are respected and enforced in collaboration with bordering neighbor associations

  • Modernizing, evolving, and improving the use of technology including RFYHA Google Workspace for nonprofits
