Pee Wee B - First game at Somerset Arena
The River Falls Pee Wee B team played the Somerset Pee Wee A team on Sunday, November 16th. Although the River Falls team was defeated, Coach Miller thought the kids played hard. "While we gave up more goals than we would like, the Somerset team will be playing Pee Wee A competition, so they were a good opponent. We will be working hard in practice on our play in the defensive zone so we can give Brian a little more help! We are also working on getting the kids to take the body - something many have not been allowed to do until this year."
The Pee Wee B's will have home advantage on Sunday, November 30th for their second game against Somerset. The game begins at 7:00 p.m.
Pee Wee B vs Somerset
On Sunday, Nov. 30th, our Pee Wee B team had a rematch with Somerset on our home ice. The final score was River Falls 4 and Somerset 6. Coach Miller writes "I thought our kids did a real nice job in our second game against Somerset. We played them much closer then we did the first time. As I told the kids, we as coaches don't worry so much about mistakes as long as they are giving us an "A" effort. I felt like the kids played hard!"
This weekend the Pee Wee B's have two away games. Friday at 6:45 they play Altoona and Saturday at 4:45 they are up against New Richmond.
River Falls Pee Wee B Win Both Away Games This Past Weekend
We had a good weekend of games. Our game Friday in Altoona showed we can score some goals! The Saturday game was a defensive battle between two evenly matched teams. The shootout was fun for the kids - its always more fun when you score more goals in a shootout! We better be ready because my guess is we will see the New Richmond team again in the state playoffs.
Pee Wee B defeat Baldwin
Pee Wee B team played at Baldwin United Civic Center on Friday, Dec. 19th. River Falls defeated the Baldwin Pee Wee A team, 4 to 1.
