River Falls Youth Hockey Association (RFYHA) is a Wisconsin Non-Profit Tax Exempt Corporation dedicated to promote hockey for the youth in the community. The Association was organized in 1967 and is classified as a "Division 2" Association in WAHA's Region 6. River Falls is recognized as a leader in hockey in Western Wisconsin. RFYHA owns and operates the Wildcat Centre Arena. There are no State, County or City funds used to manage our facility and we have no employees. Everything that happens in and around our arena is managed by volunteers who care about kids and hockey and we appreciate all of their efforts. Welcome to our website and we hope you can come and visit our rink someday.

Registration for the 2010-2011 season will take place on Wednesday, September 8th, from 6pm - 8pm at the Wildcat Arena.
There is one significant change in how we process registrations this year. Each player and coach will have to go online and register with USA Hockey before you come and register with RFYHA. We will not be able to process your registration with RFYHA until you have registered with USA Hockey and WAHA. After you register with USA Hockey you will print out a confirmation letter with a bar code on it.
Click on the link for the step by step guide to registering online with USA Hockey. If you have any questions or problems please feel free to contact Natalie Benusa at jnbenusa@sbcglobal.net.
WAHA has mandated this change with the registration process. You will be asked to pay the $30 USA Hockey fee along with the $10 WAHA fee online. We have always had to pay these fees; we just paid them as an association. It should be an easy transition for our association as most of the other associations within WAHA have already been registering online for many seasons.
Congratulations to the The St. Croix Fusion on their repeat as State High School Girls Hockey Champions!

DISTRICT 6 CHAMPIONS and 3rd PLACE at STATE
The U12 BlackCats skated to 3rd Place at the State Tournament held at Arrowhead near Milwaukee on the weekend of March 13-14. The BlackCats qualified for the State Tourney by defeating Eau Claire/Altoona Co-Op and Onalaska Area Co-Op in the Region Playoffs. The BlackCats defeated Arrowhead in game one at State, then lost in the Semi Finals to the eventual champion Wisconsin Ice Spirit (Madison Area Co-Op), and then defeated the Dane County Diamonds (Sun Prairie Area Co-Op) for 3rd Place. The weekend ended a great year that also included a strong showing in Minnesota District 8 League play and 2nd place finishes at the Chippewa Falls Thunder Classic and Baldwin's Rose Schultz Memorial Tournaments. The BlackCats are a Co-Op between River Falls and Baldwin Hockey Associations and all players will eventually play for the St. Croix Valley Fusion.
